Have you attended a lot of training courses in your working life?
Have you ever played a game, whereby the instructor asks you to
name the first mammal, insect or animal that you can think of?
As soon as you reply, the instructor then asks you to name another mammal,
insect or animal you can think of.
The moral of this technique is that the first creature you name is the one
you aspire to be and the second is the one you really are!
As a trainer, I love this simple exercise and nearly everyone I know who has
done this exercise is equally fascinated by their answers. It is really quite profound.
The first time I did this exercise, my second choice was a Dolphin. I was delighted.
Dolphins are mine and many people’s favourite mammals.
I was therefore fascinated when I first saw the Dolphin Friendly logo on a tin of Tuna.
Dolphin-safe labels are used to denote compliance with laws or policies designed to minimize dolphin fatalities during fishing for tuna destined for canning.
Some labels impose stricter requirements than others. Dolphin-safe tuna labeling originates in the United States.
To raise the profile of this logo, I have created a T-Shirt at Teezily which is yours for £7.56 plus postage.
Wear this beautiful T-Shirt and raise the profile of this logo and the organisations involved in preserving the beautiful Dolphin and outlawing unlawful and indiscriminate Tuna fishing.
